Some of the most magical holiday memories don’t come wrapped in paper or tucked under the tree. They come from the little traditions that make Christmas special.
Years ago, when our kids were little, one of them wished for something simple yet impossible: a bell from one of Santa’s reindeer.
That’s when Chuck — my husband and the creative dreamer behind this whole adventure — went to work. He designed a personalized letter from Santa, packaged it up with a shiny reindeer bell, and sent it straight from the “North Pole.”
When our kids opened that special delivery, they went absolutely NUTS. The funny thing is… they don’t remember the toys they unwrapped that year. But even now, as grown adults, they still talk about the year they got a bell from one of Santa’s reindeer.
That moment stuck with us, and it’s the reason OPSP was born — to make every child’s Christmas Eve an unforgettable experience.
And the best part for parents and grandparents: the mission only happens on Christmas Eve — ringing the reindeer bell to signal Santa that they’re in bed and ready for sleep. It’s a great way to turn bedtime into part of the adventure (and a win for parents, too!).
Because, long after the toys are forgotten, your kids will always remember when they were invited to join Operation Sugarplum and became part of Santa’s mission.
